Breaks can now be partially paid and unpaid

Paid breaks sometimes running late? You can now automatically convert extra paid break time into unpaid time. For example, if a team member leaves for a 10 minute paid break, but clocks-in again after 15 minutes, we’ll automatically convert the break to a 10 minute paid break and a 5 minute unpaid break on the timesheet.

If you’ve got a slow period, your employees can now take a little extra longer break without you worrying about those extra minutes (and labor costs). As always, we’ll make sure your employees’ breaks are easily tracked using the mobile timesheets app and alert you if any are missed.

Paid break rules are available on the Plus and Enterprise plans. To learn more, check out this help center article.
